Current Young Mayor and Young Advisors' Projects
One of the key aspects of being a Young Advisor or Young Mayor is working on different projects that are relevant to the young people in the borough of Lewisham.

Radio Lewisham
Radio Lewisham was part of Jentai Gen-One's 2023-2024 manifesto and the Young Advisors, along with Lewisham Music, Bloomsbury Institute, have worked hard to create a fully functioning, independent, youth-ran radio station, made for young people, by young people.
Lewisham Young Mayor 20th Anniversary Archiving
To celebrate 20 years of the Lewisham Young Mayor and Young Advisors, the Young Advisors have been completing the archiving process. Archiving is the act of storing or preserving records, documents, or other materials of historical interest or importance.
The finished archive will be presented at the 20th anniversary celebration in Autumn 2024 (details to come soon!)
Next Generation Business Competition
As part of Jentai Gen-One (the Young Mayor of 2023-2024)'s manifesto, the Young Mayor's team is working with the Economy and Business team in Lewisham Council to develop a business start-up competition for Lewisham schools – new Gen Business competition
