Join the international young online jury Sun 26 Apr - 11:00-15:30 - Free event Aged 12-14 and love film? Join us as a UK youth juror for this amazing annual event when young people in more than 40 countries worldwide watch the same three new European feature films and decide their winner! As you can see in the trailer, the European Film Academy’s Young Audience Award usually takes place in cinemas. This year it’s moving online, so now there’s a chance for all 12-14-year-olds to join the international online jury, watch the three nominated films 23-25 April, and vote for the winner on 26 April. It’s FREE to take part – just email us at corinna.downing@bfi.org.uk by Friday 17 April at 10:00 and we’ll send you the details! We need your name + surname, your date of birth, your or your parent’s email address and the name of the town/city where you live. Watch the films Thu 23 – Sat 25 April Watch the films, available to stream for these three days. You can only vote if you’ve watched all three all the way through! Optional extra: After you watch the films, if you’d like to ask about any of them then please email 1-3 questions for the director or actors to corinna.downing@bfi.org.uk and we’ll pass it on to the YAA to include in the awards ceremony on Sun 26 April. Vote online and watch the YAA Awards Ceremony Sun 26 April Online voting 11:00-15:00. Optional extra: If you can, join in a ‘video conference’ discussion with other UK jurors to share your thoughts about the films, 13:30-14:30.
