Professional skills talks

As Covid-19 has hit young people the hardest economically, Elimu has partnered with PwC to host a series of professional skills talks. Volunteers across the Big Four firm will be giving advice to young people to prepare for next steps, be it further education, employment, training or starting a business. The sessions consist of a short presentation followed by a Q&A for anyone who wants specific advice.

There will be 3 sessions this week and 3 sessions next week. This weeks session starts today at 3pm and the topic is 'what the future looks like and employment post-covid'.

Please share if you have any young people who are considering their next steps. Here's a link to register for any or all of the sessions:

We are also looking for young people who are at risk of becoming NEET for a mentoring programme that we are delivering with PwC. In addition, we are offering financial literacy workshops to schools which have more than 50% of students receiving free school meals.
